Privacy notice
This notice explains how Vieta handles personal information collected through this website.
Who we are
This website is run by Vieta Inc., a Delaware corporation with its registered office at 800 Third Avenue, New York, NY 10022, USA. Vieta Inc. is part of a group that also includes Vieta Technologies Inc. (also a Delaware corporation at the same address) and Vieta Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 14383024 (together “Vieta”, “we”, “us”). Vieta Inc. is the controller of the personal information described here.
Vieta Limited is registered with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office under reference C1329864 and is the point of contact for people in the UK. Questions about this notice can be sent through the contact form on our website.
What we collect
- Enquiries. When you use our contact form we receive your name, company, work email address and your message.
- Technical data. Our hosting provider records standard server information such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to keep the site secure and working.
This website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers.
How we use it
We use your enquiry details to reply to you and, where you are interested, to discuss working together. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries. If we go on to work together, we process your details as needed to perform our contract. We will not add you to marketing lists without your agreement.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf:
- Cloudflare, which hosts the website, protects it from attacks and delivers contact form submissions to our inbox.
- Our email provider, where enquiries are stored in our inbox.
We do not sell your personal information or share it with anyone else unless the law requires it.
International transfers
Vieta is a US company with team members in the UK, so your information may be handled in both the United States and the United Kingdom. Where information about people in the UK or EU is transferred to the United States, we and our providers rely on approved safeguards such as the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for up to 2 years after our last contact with you, unless you become a client, in which case we keep records for as long as the relationship and our legal obligations require.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to provide it in a portable format. To make a request, use the contact form on our website. We will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
